character profiles
I've stared to finally work on my character profiles. My idea is putting together each character's job application to work at the theme park along with a headshot if their choice. I already have some potential people for my characters and seeing as how I probably wouldn't get any known actors for the roles this works out perfect.

check this out
I was reading random things online and discovered this website. It reminded me of the sense of humor that one of my characters has. The ranting, know-it-all, jaded sense of humor.

Check out the article: why the 21st century makes us depressed. Also, Teddy Roosevelt is a badass. Just saying.

Part 1: Faulkner’s Noble speech did not touch me. Maybe for the fact I am not a writer nor have ever had the inclination to be. Or maybe I just see it, as too lengthy a speech at a time where a simple “thank you” is all I ask for. Therefore I cannot agree or disagree with his thoughts. It a moot point in my mind. As far as his challenge goes, I don’t care. I’m not a writer; once again he has fallen on deaf ears. As far as my story is concerned, I can’t tell what in God’s name Faulkner expects from me. Does he want my protagonist to be scared that the world? To fall in love or to lust after what is not his to lust? I’m confused. My story is not about a group of friends who work at a theme park and share the stories of the crazy things that happen to them throughout the day. I’m to trying to write a grandiose existential coming of age Oscar-worthy melodrama. I’m just trying to entertain people for a half hour once a week.
Part 2: When you first meet Sammy, he seems like a very mousey character. Once the 3 girls are introduced he take a turn. Suddenly the young girls, and most definitely lusting over the leader of the group turn him on. He didn’t interest me at all. Well until he quit his job. That was completely out of left field.

My Believe
Cartoons? Hell yeah Cartoons!
I am a 22 year old college senior and you know what the best part of my day is? Sitting down in front of my TV and watching cartoons before I go to bed. That's right, you read it correctly. I love cartoons. Apparently people my age a supposed to watch Lost, Prisonbreak, and The Office. Not I sir, not I.
I could care less about Jack and what’s-her-name getting of an island in the middle of the ocean, or whether Pam and John Krashinski end up together, or even who the hell replaced Bob Barker. Nope, don't care. But tell talk to me about Timmy Turner and his fairlyodd parents and now we're talking!
It started with the fact that I never wanted lose track of what made me who I am today. Every little kid grew up watching cartoons. Every Saturday morning I would watch The Bugs and Daffy Show. Wiley E. Coyote showed me the power of the Pratfall and crass humor associated with the misfortune of others. Alongside the Looney Tunes classics there was The Animaniacs who taught me how to name all the nations in the world to the sound of the Mexican Hat Dance. That knowledge later allowed me to pass high school geography with flying colors. And let's not even get into Tiny Toon Adventures or Re-Boot.
It all boils down to what it medically referred to as the Peter Pan Syndrome. What doctors’ call and ailment I call a blessing. The Idea of never growing up as kept me young at heart as well as in my mind. Friends that are my same age lethargically lounge around their houses on the weekends desperately trying to catch up on their Tivo'ed shows. While I, on the other hand go out and actually do things. You know why? Because cartoons taught me it was more fun to be outside than inside watching TV! Betcha Ghostwhisperer didn't tell you that...fatty.

"Making It Up As I Go Along"
I have totally cut steakwith scissors. My favorite plans for weekends are just made up on the fly. I currently make a part time living creating banners off the top of my head because I "needed something to occupy my time and make me cash". Life is full of choices, and I like to pick the one that come out of left field.

"A Marriage That’s Good Enough"
This entire article is why I do not settle. Why would i want to live in a relationship where I just go through the movement of life? I settled for 2 years of my life in a "crap-tastic" relationship. I currently am inventing a time machine to get back those 1,051,200 minutes of my life back. I seriously hope this lady finds her Prince Charming in another man and realizes what she could have had.
